Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. GIGDATA LLC strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort and are continuously working to improve.

Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA attributes to ensure assistive technologies can accurately interpret page content and structure.

Form Labels and Error Handling: All form fields in search, checkout, account registration, and contact forms include visible labels and programmatic associations. Error messages clearly identify the field and describe how to correct the issue.
Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements so keyboard users can track their position on the page.
ARIA Live Regions: Cart updates, search results, and other dynamic content changes are announced to assistive technologies.

Third-Party Payment Forms: Our checkout uses Stripe's embedded payment elements. While Stripe maintains its own accessibility standards, these elements are outside our direct control and may have limitations we cannot immediately remediate.
User-Uploaded Product Images: Product images uploaded by third-party sellers may lack descriptive alt text. We encourage all sellers to provide meaningful image descriptions and are working to enforce this as a listing requirement.
PDF Invoices and Documents: Some automatically generated PDF invoices and order documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader compatibility. We can provide accessible alternative formats upon request.
